There's a new chapter for one of footy's great traditions. Richmond and Essendon will play the inaugural Dreamtime at Maali at Optus Stadium in Perth on Sunday 4 July, during NAIDOC Week, as part of a two-year partnership. It comes on top of Dreamtime at the 'G in May, so that's two Dreamtime games against the Bombers in 2027.

Minor premiers North Melbourne were too classy at Windy Hill on Saturday, but there was plenty to cheer. Zoe Hargreaves finally made her AFLW debut, 684 days after being drafted, and laid four tackles to a warm reception. Monique Conti had a game-high 33 possessions and nine clearances, and Georgia Stubs kicked a goal in the opening minute against her old club. The Tigers finish 2026 with four wins from 12, double last year's tally. Thanks for a great season, girls!
